4 Refreshing Concoctions: Healthy & Homemade Popsicles
Summer is here and finding ways to stay cool without always giving into that ring-a-ling of the local ice cream truck is not as easy as pie. With a little help from these four mixtures, you can make your own popsicles at home. It’ll blow your mind how tasty and healthy these treats are…
1 – Avocado, Mango, & Coconut Milk
Creamy goodness, packed with omega-3s and mouth-watering fresh mangos. These frozen treats will surprise you with their flavor, and the fact that they aren’t a guilty dessert!
2 – Green Tea Pops
Brew up some strong green tea, add honey and freeze! Not only are these refreshing, but they give you a little caffeine pick-me-up on any hot afternoon.
3 – Razzle Dazzle Pops
Whip up these ingredients in the blender: 1 ½ cup fat-free yogurt, ¾ cup water, 6 oz. raspberries, and a handful of fresh mint. Freeze and you will understand what’s in their name – the razzle dazzle pops.
4 – Peaches & Berries
Puree these perfectly paired fruits – peaches and blueberries – with a dash of honey. Freeze them, and relish in their flavor while remembering they’re packed with antioxidants, vitamin A, C, and potassium.
