FITiST is the most personalized approach to fitness, health, and overall well-being to help exercise enthusiasts reach their goals quickly and efficiently. We're the first one-stop booking website for fitness and wellness, with expertly-curated workout plans designed to help you reach your goals. Plus, we keep good company: We partner with the best local fitness studios, wellness services, and spas on both coasts.

HOW IT WORKS


HOW DOES FITiST WORK?

We have 10 curated regimens ranging from one to three months long, to help you get where you want to go. Choose your goal, sign up for a plan, then book and manage your own schedule. It's that simple. You can also score last-minute classes. Every night, our partners provide you with open seats in the next day's classes at a fraction of the full price. FITiST experts in various fields such as nutrition, sports medicine, personal training, and women's health, play an instrumental role in devising the core FITiST membership regimens and are the driving force behind our blog, "The EDiT," which we specially designed for the fitness and wellness enthusiast.

 

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO JOIN FITiST?

FITiST is a members-only site, and there's no fee to join. Members can purchase goal-oriented plans, expert-approved add–ons, and last-minute deals. Plus, they can use FITiST's unique booking and calendar system to schedule fitness and wellness sessions. As a member, you can always take advantage of The EDiT and the FITiST calendar that features the best of the best fitness options in the city in one place.

 

HOW DOES FITiST CHOOSE ITS PARTNERS?

We have scoured the market for the best of the best in each practice of training and wellness looking for quality, results, service, and experience. Our network of studios, spas, and experts meet all these criteria.

 

HOW DOES FITiST CREATE ITS PLANS?

FITiST works with its board of experts to devise the optimal mix of classes for each plan. Physicians, kinesiologists, professional trainers, and coaches have all helped to craft our plans.

 

HOW DOES FITiST CHOOSE ITS EDITORIAL BOARD?

Comprising of nationally recognized experts in fields including nutrition, personal training, women's health and fertility, and sports medicine as well as professional athletes and active high-profile and influential individuals. Look for regularly updated and informative editorial content in addition to live Q&As.

 

HOW DO I CHECK MY ACCOUNT?

Find your account details in your account section. "My Account" includes classes booked, booking history, memberships, settings, billing, FITpoints, and profile details.

 

CAN I FIND FITiST AT A PHYSICAL LOCATION?

Nope, FITiST is online only. Our network is made up of physical locations where you can sweat and push yourself, but the FITiST booking is strictly web-based.

 

HOW DO I FIND A GYM?

All FITiST partners are profiled in the network section. Also, the FITiST booking system allows you to sort by studio name and location.

 

HOW DO I BOOK MY CLASSES?

FITiST is a one-stop fitness and wellness membership and bookings site. All plan booking occurs on the FITiST schedule. Sort by activity, studio, or location, as well as day of the week and desired time. It's booking made simple courtesy of the FITiST team.

 

WHEN CAN I BOOK?

The FITiST booking window opens on Sunday at 5pm for the following week (Tuesday through Monday).

 

HOW DOES LAST MINUTE WORK?

Our last-minute deals provide a daily selection of highly coveted classes and appointments for sale at a fraction of their full price. It is an outlet for the site's partner studios and service providers to unload their unbooked inventory (beginning the night before). This is a great introduction to classes and treatments for people who cannot plan in advance (or just love a good deal).

 

CAN I ASK MY FRIENDS TO JOIN FiTIST?

Yes, please! Working out is so much better with friends. In fact, we built the FITiST platform to create a community of people dedicated to fitness. Every time, 10 friends joins FITiST, you are rewarded with 100 FITpoints.

 

WHAT ARE FITpoints?

Members receive a specified number of FITpoints upon each booking. These FITpoints are good for use towards any class with all of our FITiST partners. When customers make reservations for any service or class, they will receive 10 FITpoints. There is no limit to the amount of points you can earn.

 

IS FITiST IN NYC ONLY?

FITiST is in NYC and the Hamptons and NOW in LA.  Hello LA and the perfect bi-coastal fitness membership plan. FITiST plans to hit the road later in 2011 expanding into many other FIT-conscious cities.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PLAN IS RIGHT FOR ME?

We've created the ideal fitness and wellness packages for all of your specific needs. We have 10 initial plans with various add-ons catered to each individual's goal. These packages are a great gift, as well as the perfect solution for those with goals and the need for a little guidance and motivation. WHAT ARE THE FITiST ADD-ONS?

FITiST is all about access in a few clicks, so we let you maximize your membership with add-ons like personal training, massage therapy, nutrition counseling, and other wellness services. We’ve assembled some of the NYC's best services in each category to make your experience that much more perfect. 

 

CAN I PURCHASE ADD-ONS WITHOUT HAVING A MEMBERSHIP PLAN?

Add-ons can be purchased only with a membership plan. Add-on services are non refundable and must be booked directly with the provider.


MEMBERSHIP

 

HOW CAN I CHECK MY ACCOUNT DETAILS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION?

All account details are stored in the your my account section in the "My Account" section. This section includes classes booked, booking history, memberships, settings, billing, FITpoints, and profile details.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY FITiST MEMBERSHIP?

All memberships are one to three months long and billed on a monthly basis. Plans cannot be changed or canceled in the middle of a membership. FITiST will review circumstances on a case-by-case basis; email billing@FITiST.com with inquiries.

 

CAN I CHANGE MY PLAN MID-MEMBERSHIP?

Nope, plans cannot be changed mid-membership. All memberships are one to three months long and billed on a monthly basis. FITiST will review circumstances on a case-by-case basis; email billing@FITiST.com with inquiries.

WHAT IS THE RESPONSE TIME TO A MEMBER INQUIRY?

We know when you have questions, you want answers. We promise to respond to members' inquiries as quickly as possible (usually within a day!).


CANCELLATIONS

 

WHAT IS THE FITiST CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GROUP CLASSES?

Our cancellation window is 24 hours before the start of a class. However, some studios may have a different window (please see notes upon booking). If a member cancels a group class within the appropriate time frame, the class will be credited back to the member's plan. If a member cancels after the window closes, the class will not be credited. All classes purchased through the last-minute deals portal are nonrefundable and cannot be canceled.

 

CAN I CANCEL A LAST MINUTE SEAT?

Last-minute deals are just that — great deals because they happen at the last minute. With that said, all last-minute purchases are final. Grab a deal and get to work!

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

FITiST accepts all major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa). FITiST does not accept gift cards or personal checks.

 

IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD?

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS?

If you choose, your credit card information is saved in the "My Account" section of FITiST.com. To update your credit card details, please see your account details and the update your billing information.

 

SALES TAX?

FITiST will charge sales tax upon checkout for any classes or services that require it.

 

CAN I BE REIMBURSED IF I DO NOT USE MY CLASSES?

Nope. At this time, we do not reimburse our members for unused classes.
